Ballroom and Social Dance Instruction
The Chatham Social Club offers Ballroom and Social, Latin, Country Western, Nightclub, and Line Dancing instruction. Private and Group instruction are offered to couples and singles in the Pittsboro and surrounding areas. Social dance events and outings are offered monthly as a way for students to use their dance training in a fun setting.

Ballroom and Social Dance instruction offered to the Pittsboro and surrounding areas. Ballroom and social dance group classes require a dance partner and are offered on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:00pm for beginner to advanced dancers. Line dancing group classes do not require a partner or dance experience and are offered on Friday mornings from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Private instruction is offered for both single students and couples on MWF afternoons. These classes are requested to be booked in advance with the assistance of the owner.

Instructor
Lindsey King
Lindsey’s love for dance began at a young age and was the catalyst that nurtured the young shy artist into a confident and professional dance instructor.
After graduating from Lees McRae College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in both Dance and Performing Arts, Lindsey lived in New York City where she was first introduced to Ballroom and Social dance.
This love affair with partner dancing grew from teaching professionally to owning and operating the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Cary, North Carolina.
After moving on from that organization Lindsey created an independent dance company operating in Chatham County offering both private and group instruction creating a social dance presence in Pittsboro and the surrounding areas.
Lindsey currently resides in Chatham County with her husband and two daughters. When she is not dancing you can find her spending time in her garden or taking nature walks in the countryside.
